The Cubes
You may have some blocks like this in your classroom, made of either wood or plastic.
If not, you can visualise them here, onscreen.
Memorise this:
  • The one-square block or single cube is called one unit or ' a one '.
  • The ten-square block or ten cube single line is called one ten or 'a ten'.
  • The 100 square block or 100 cube flat square is called one hundred or 'a hundred'.
